Steve Huffman

Steve Huffman is a lifelong resident of Miami County. He was born in Stouder Hospital in Troy and raised outside of Ludlow Falls. After graduating from Milton-Union High School, Steve attended the University of Toledo. He went on to earn a medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio (now the University of Toledo School of Medicine). 

Since earning his medical degree, Steve has since served on the staff at Upper Valley Medical Center and Wayne Hospital for 18 years, and now serves on the Board of Directors for Premier Physician Services. He also served overseas in under-served regions for 18 months. In addition, he was elected to the position of Miami County Coroner in 2012, and has since lowered the costs associated with the office while filling the duties of the office and providing compassionate care for families.  

Steve has been heavily involved with Republican party leaders in Miami and Darke Counties, and Republicans leadership across Ohio. Steve is a member of the Miami County Republican Men's Club, Darke County Republican Men's Club, Miami County Republican Party Leaders Club, and Darke County Republican Party Century Club. 

Steve resides in Tipp City with his wife, Kathryn, and their five children.
